FSX Repaint Dassault Rafale M F3 No. 32

Dassault Rafale M F3 No. 32 livery recreates Aeronavale Flotille 11F markings from BAN Landivisiau and carrier operations aboard Charles de Gaulle, capturing the unit’s 2011-era transition to the Rafale. Designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it requires Bruno Merelle’s Rafale M v2.1 beta with the v2.2 update.

Flotille 11F, Aeronavale. Over ten years since 12F Flotille converted to the Rafale M in 1999, the second Aeronavale unit officially began receiving their aircraft beginning in September 2011. Flotille 11F, also based at BAN Landivisiau and onboard the Charles de Gaulle carrier (R91), will gradually give up the Super Modernized Etendard (SEM) as they complete transition to the Rafale. For use with the v2.1 beta Rafale M and v2.2 Update by Bruno Merelle. Repaint by Frank Safranek.

Installation:

  1. Unzip and copy the "SimObjects" folder in your FSX main directory. If prompted about overwriting say "ok", it is just seeing the five subfolders from the original install. All files being added are new so nothing already installed is effected.
  2. Open the "aircraft.cfg" file of the individual "Rafale M" folders and copy/paste the following text sections. Replace "xx" with the next consecutive number in your file.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D livery / repaint

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Add livery to base aircraft folder

    Place the texture folder (typically texture.{airline}) inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{base-aircraft}\.

  3. Update aircraft.cfg

    Open the base aircraft.cfg in Notepad. Add a new [fltsim.X] section per the readme.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
