This freeware repaint brings the Bravia airline markings from Bryansk, Russia to the SCDS Yak-40 v1.3 convertible cargo/passenger aircraft, reflecting a unique side cargo door configuration. It merges historic Soviet-era engineering with a modern texturing approach to enhance realism. Developed for FS2004, it requires the primary SCDSYK40.ZIP package and is not intended for use with the older Yak-40K v1.2RC. Livery design by Igor Suprunov and rivet work by Zbynek Pavlon.
Overview
This specialized repaint features the Bravia livery adapted to the tri-engined Yak-40 airframe. The real Yak-40 emerged as a small regional jet designed in the Soviet period, well-known for its ability to operate from short runways and provide flexible cabin setups. By incorporating a convertible cargo/passenger variant, this model supports expanded mission profiles and includes an operational side cargo door for more efficient loading. Textures have been meticulously mapped to emphasize authentic metallic surfaces and fuselage paneling.

Installation Details
To add this repaint to your FS2004 library, simply run the self-extracting .exe file and point it to your main MSFS-2004 directory. Once the process completes, the Bravia livery becomes accessible through the simulator’s aircraft selection menu. If you have installed any patches for the SCDS Yak-40 v1.3 and the repaint disappears, run the .exe again to restore the textures. Ensure you have the required base package (SCDSYK40.ZIP) installed in order to use this repaint.
Developer Credits
This repaint is a collaborative work made possible by the efforts of Igor Suprunov, who crafted the color scheme, and Zbynek Pavlon, whose detailed rivet textures enhance the visual fidelity of all SCDS liveries.
