The FAA publishes each family of VFR charts as a single archive alongside the individual sheets. Downloading 95 charts one at a time is a long evening; these are the same files in one ZIP, exactly as the FAA packages them, unmodified. Each archive contains both the georeferenced GeoTIFF (with world file and FGDC metadata) and the print-ready PDF for every chart in the family.
The current edition took effect on 9 Jul 2026 and is superseded on 3 Sep 2026. We mirror each new edition as the FAA releases it, so the archives here always match the cycle shown above.
Set archives are a PRO benefit. The sectional set alone is 3.07 GB. Rather than throttle a download that size to a crawl, we keep it for members — individual charts stay free for everyone.

Yes. The complete sectional set is a single 3.07 GB ZIP containing every sectional in both GeoTIFF and PDF, exactly as the FAA packages them. Terminal area, helicopter route, Caribbean and Grand Canyon sets are packaged the same way. Bulk archives are a PRO benefit; every individual chart stays free.
Both formats for every chart in the family: the georeferenced GeoTIFF at 300 dpi with its world file and FGDC metadata, and the print-ready PDF. Nothing is recompressed or altered — they are the FAA's own files.
The charts themselves are public domain and always free individually. What PRO pays for is bandwidth and convenience: the sectional set alone is over 3 GB, and serving that at the free tier's speed cap would take the best part of a day. Members get full line speed and the archive in one file.
Every cycle. Visual charts are reissued every 56 days and terminal procedures every 28; each new edition is fetched, verified and repackaged on its effective date, so the archives always match the dates shown on this page.
