This specialized repaint for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 recreates the classic BAC One-Eleven 200 in a striking lemon color scheme originally flown by Braniff International. This particular aircraft, identified as N1548, was also briefly seen in a lighter shade during its service life. Developed by Garry Russell and requiring the freeware base model by David Maltby, this package provides a vivid homage to the historic short-haul jet and captures subtle variations in Braniff’s iconic branding.
Distinctive Lemon Appearance
The British Aircraft Corporation (BAC) One-Eleven was renowned for efficient regional operations and its reliable twin-jet design. Braniff International leveraged equally bold paint choices to emphasize its progressive outlook, and this lemon-toned finish exemplifies just that. N1548 proudly wore this bright hue, and at one point, a slightly softer shade of yellow graced its fuselage. This download meticulously reflects those visual details while preserving fidelity to the airframe’s original look.

Essential Model Requirement
To operate this repaint, simmers must possess the freeware David Maltby BAC One-Eleven 200 model. That base model furnishes the authentic geometry, flight dynamics, and cabin configuration essential to maintain historical accuracy. Braniff’s real-world One-Elevens did not incorporate rear drop-down airstairs, so this repaint follows suit by omitting their use in the aircraft configuration.
Configuration Section
Below is the aircraft configuration entry to insert into your aircraft.cfg file. Replace [fltsim.xx]
with the next valid numeric sequence, ensuring no overlaps with existing entries.
