FSX Concorde Final Version-A 2011 Views

Concorde Final Version-A 2011 Views refines the aircraft’s camera set with reworked angles and extra viewpoints for smoother flying and better situational awareness. Designed for FSX, it adds nine exterior cameras plus seven carefully placed perspectives in the 3D virtual cockpit via updated aircraft.cfg camera definitions.

Original views reworked and additional views (defined by camera definitions in the aircraft.cfg file) for the Concorde by M. Libardo Guzman. Nine cameras pointing at the aircraft and a total of seven views in the 3D cockpit. By Marc Renaud.

Instructions:

  • Make sure FSX is not running.
  • Make a copy of your aircraft.cfg file.
  • Open the aircraft.cfg file.
  • Delete the existing camera definitions. [IMPORTANT[
  • Open the camera definitions.txt file provided by me.
  • Select and copy all the camera definitions.
  • Paste the new camera definitions into the aircraft.cfg file. (I suggest the bottom of the file).
  • Save the aircraft.cfg file.
  • Start FSX, select the Concorde in your favorite paint. Spool up them engines and release the brakes!

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    Concorde fascinates me and I finally found it. They took it off the air a while ago and it's a shame, if they had made an economically profitable version, it would surely still fly. I like the textures and views of the file.
