It's time for the annual balloon festival at Solberg Airport! Come see the hot air balloons and blimps! Also in this scenery are some distinctive landmarks. Located to the northwest is the headquarters for Merck & Co., one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. You can't miss it, the building complex is shaped like a molecular diagram. Just north of this is the headquarters for A.M. Best Company, the largest and longest-established company devoted to issuing in-depth reports and financial strength ratings about insurance organizations.
This scenery was created using Airport Design Editor FSX Edition. Static aircraft are from a freeware collection by KB Sims. Buildings were created using Google SketchUp and converted for FSX using ModelConverterX and Library Creator XML by Arno Gerretsen. Static aircraft were converted using Static Aircraft .mdl Maker by Don Grovestine. Hot air balloons are from a library by Seev Kahn, Team Rwy12.
Installation instructions:
- Unzip this file to a temporary folder.
- Copy the N51 folder to your FSX "Addon Scenery" folder and add this to your FSX scenery library.
- Unzip kb_static_aircraft_FSX.zip. This file contains the static aircraft library from KB Sims. Copy this to your FSX "Addon Scenery" folder and add this to your FSX scenery library.
