FS2004 Real Super H Constellation

One of the four Lockheed Super H Connies owned by Real, this aircraft, registration PP-YSB, flew international routes to Latin America, United States and Japan in the late fifties. Features accurate painting includes night lighting, reflective windows and metals. Texture only to be used with Mike Stone's SCONNIE.ZIP. Pictorial pdf included. Painted by Luiz Alvarenga. In order to reduce the size of the files and improve on screen performance, no Mips were included in these textures. This should not produce any significant difference when the aircraft image, in spot view, is not shorter than half of screen width. With these textures and Mike Stone's model, frame rate results were very good when compared with similar aircrafts.

Night lighting texture is only activated by turning on the Landing Lights. The default night texture illuminates the connie central tail, as I suppose this should have been a feature of a top liner aircraft. If you prefer a non-lighted tail just rename the enclosed file fuslg_l(no tail).bmp as fuslg_l.bmp and replace it in the folder texture.real.

Installation:

• Unzip the contents of this file to a temporary directory.
• Copy the folder "texture.real" to the folder where Connie (or other aircraft name) is.
• Copy the following text into your aircraft.cfg file which is located in the same folder above.
