FSX MAAM-SIM R4D Update

MAAM-SIM’s R4D/DC-3/C-47 gains smooth compatibility with Microsoft Flight Simulator X through updated panel, aircraft configuration files, and gauges, plus included thumbnails for the Select Aircraft menu. Requires the original MAAM-SIM CD release for FS2004, bringing the classic transport into a more modern sim environment.

An update that allows MAAM-SIM's R4D/DC-3/C-47 CD FS2004 aircraft to be used in FSX. If you are not an owner, you can obtain your copy from the MAAM Store. This update primarily addresses changes in the panel and aircraft configuration files and gauges. Thumbnail pictures for the FSX Select Aircraft Menu are included. FSX / P3D add-on

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
