Editorial
The good old F-15!
I decided to download this mod as it looked like a really fun way to get to experience the full fun and power of FSX, but I was not really sure where to start with something so terrifying.
This mod is a simply re-paint of Nathan Fife’s version of the aircraft but given I had not used Nathans version until now, I have to say that I was pretty damn impressed by the level of control that it gave me throughout the flight. For something so immensely powerful and clearly hard to learn in real-life, it felt pretty easy to get to grips with it here!
Maybe I’m just a better pilot than I thought!
The Performance
As I mentioned above, this performs exactly as you would imagine an F-15 would. It’s brutally powerful, with it being delivered as a tactical air command unit in an Air Superiority color. This makes it look fearsome but also ensures that you know you are flying a piece of military royalty.
It was created for ease of use for pilots and this translates quite well into the simulation, giving you an aircraft that is pretty damn relentless at all times. It can brutally rip through the skies and at first I did take a bit of getting used to its overall nature but within no time at all I was using my new afterburner effect like I had been using it since my very first flight in the skies!
The Look
It looks so lovely, too. I was so impressed with the overall look and design of the aircraft. Not only did it do an absolutely splendid job of sustaining its look and style, this aircraft looks as deadly as its record suggests. The aircraft never lost a “fight” with an opposing aircraft in all of its time, making it one of the few flawless aircraft ever to be built. Likewise, the aircraft manages to carry that look of primordial power and fear about it at all times.
I managed to feel quite intimidated just getting the engines started, after all! This is a brutal piece of kit and one that has no problems in letting you know it. It’s sleek and attractive to the eye but you’ll soon see with the wide range of products on offer inside the cockpit that this really does a spectacular job of selling the real thing and making it look the best that it possibly can.
I would happily recommend this to all fans of the F-15, or for those curious about what it brings to the table.

Fun play good to fly. For some reason I'm getting black paneling and gauges as well as the HUD in VC.
