The package also includes the Europe model variant for broader texture compatibility.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Complete package of the Project Open Sky Bombardier CRJ-200 model in Delta Connection (Expressjet) livery, registration N884SA, c/n 7513. Comes with the Posky CRJ VC using the panel and VC update for FSX by Chris Evans. Repaint by Paul Craig.

This aircraft was designed for use in FS2002, but works in FSX although there are some limitations regarding the model in the way it displays the textures, especially the underside of the fuselage which means it is not as good as I would have liked it to be.

I used the panel and VC update for FSX by Chris Evans but have made some changes to it myself, as some of the gauges were misplaced & some items didn't show because the wrong gauges were used in the panel.cfg.

Installation:

  • Unzip downloaded files to a temporary folder.
  • Copy & paste the "Posky CRJ-200" into your FSX Airplanes folder located by default as below:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes
  • Copy the contents of the "Effect" folder into your FSX effects folder located by default below:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Effects

I have included the "Europe" model as well, so if you download other textures in the future and it requires this model, you have it!

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme
