FSX Delta Connection/United Express Callsigns

Restore authentic regional airline ATC with added Delta Connection and United Express operator callsigns in FSX, including Compass Rose, Flagship, and Mercury for Compass, Pinnacle, and Shuttle America. Requires EditVoicePack X and integrates cleanly with aircraft configuration so the default ATC uses the correct spoken identifiers.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Fills the missing callsigns for the operators of Delta Connection and United Express; Compass Airlines, Pinnacle Airlines, and Shuttle America, with their callsigns "Compass Rose", "Flagship", and "Mercury" respectively. Callsigns of the other operators are either in the stock FSX ATC or in the EditVoicePack community modifications. Requires EditVoicePack X (EVPX40.ZIP). By Ryan Gabuyo.

  • First, import using EditVoicePack X. When you have imported all the callsigns or phraseology changes you want, click "Update Voicepack" and make any changes needed.
  • To use, set the "atc_airline=" entry in the fltsim information in the aircraft.cfg to "Compass Rose", "Flagship", or "Mercury", depending on what aircraft or airline you are using.
  • *The rest of the callsigns to my knowledge are either stock in FSX or included in the Editvoicepack community modifications.*
  • Or open "airlines.cfg" in the main FSX root folder and add the above and then select them when choosing the aircraft (Callsign drop-down menu).

Note the stock FSX soundpack includes "Flag Ship" as a callsign; this modification uses the same audio voice sound but uses "Flagship" as one word.

Requires dependencies

This add-on may require the following files to function properly. If this is a repaint, the dependency below is likely the base aircraft package.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
