Description Comments
FSX US Navy Grumman A6 Intruder VA-176. A repaint of Kazunori Ito's A6E Intruder modified and updated for Flight Simulator X. A-6 Intruders first saw action during the Vietnam War where the aircraft were used extensively against targets in Vietnam. The aircraft's long range and heavy payload (18,000 lb/8170 kg) coupled with its ability to fly in all weather made it invaluable during the war. This repaint is of Navy Squadron VA-176 "The Thunderbolts". This aircraft has a working tail hook and folding wings. Included are actual pictures of the squadron aircraft and history of the squadron and A-6 Intruders. Textures and updates by Mark Rooks of RSDG.
