This fictional KLM Cityhopper livery for the Boeing 737-700 brings a fresh regional airline look to your simulator, closely reflecting a recent corporate design while remaining unique. Despite KLM Cityhopper’s current fleet comprising Embraer 190s and the aging Fokker 70 (until their retirement), the repaint captures the essence of their short-haul operations to various European destinations. Created by Tenkuu Developers Studio (TDS) and meticulously painted by Elmar Westra, this add-on only includes the textures; the base Boeing 737-700 model must be obtained separately.
Technical Highlights and Visual Features
- 32-bit texture fidelity: Ensures detailed and crisp rendering.
- Opening passenger & cargo doors: Adds realism when operating on the ground or during turnaround.
- Dynamic shine & exterior effects: Delivers reflective surfaces that respond to lighting conditions.
- Flexible wing animations: Wing structures react to in-flight turbulence and atmospheric movements.
- Fully independent suspension: Each gear strut displays realistic compression during taxi, takeoff, and landing.
- Accurate flight behavior: Calibrated characteristics replicate the performance of a 737 Next Generation aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator X.

About the Aircraft and Airline
The Boeing 737-700 is part of the renowned 737 Next Generation series, which significantly refines aerodynamics and onboard systems over earlier variants. Although KLM Cityhopper does not currently operate the 737 family, this paint scheme envisions how the airline’s distinctive wave-inspired tail design, used on their existing Embraer fleet, might appear on a 737. The real-world KLM Cityhopper brand focuses on regional routes, predominantly connecting Amsterdam to numerous European cities. In this rendition, you can simulate both short and medium trips with a fresh, modern KLM Cityhopper identity.
Installation Details
- Extract the files from the downloaded archive.
