This custom texture provides a distinctive finish for the Gloster Meteor F4, representing tail number VT328 from No. 263 Squadron operating out of RAF Wattisham in late 1950. Developed by Rob Richardson (original model) and repainted by Peter Watkins, this package offers an authentic Cold War-era look for Microsoft Flight Simulator X Acceleration—perfect for virtual aviators seeking an accurate portrayal of an early post-war British jet.
Detailed Depiction of a Historic Allied Jet
The Gloster Meteor F4 stands out as a significant post-war fighter, continuing the legacy of the original Meteor series introduced during WWII. With refined aerodynamics and upgraded engines, this mark delivered improved speed and maneuverability over previous variants. This repaint, crafted by Peter Watkins, exhibits the exact markings carried by VT328 while stationed at RAF Wattisham, reflecting the operational environment of No. 263 Squadron during October 1950.
