This is a set of VFA-204 'River Rattlers' textures for the VRS F/A-18E Super Hornet V1.4 (not compatible with earlier versions). This repaint is freeware, however, please do not upload this repaint anywhere without my permission. If you would like to use these textures as a base for your own repaints please ask first! Thanks to fbk289 for the repaint kit. By Nathan Havercroft.

Installation:

  • This zip file is ACM friendly, simply extract it to a known location and then import using the VRS ACM.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D Repaint for Payware Model

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Add livery to base aircraft folder

    Place the texture folder (typically texture.{airline}) inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{base-aircraft}\.

  3. Update aircraft.cfg

    Open the base aircraft.cfg in Notepad. Add a new [fltsim.X] section per the readme.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
