FSX USMC VMFA-323 Death Rattlers F/A-18E

USMC VMFA-323 “Death Rattlers” textures bring authentic squadron markings to the VRS F/A-18E Super Hornet in FSX, inspired by the 2014 airshow scheme worn by F/A-18C BuNo 164873. Requires VRS Super Hornet v1.4, with crisp exterior paintwork suited to carrier ops and ramp screenshots.

This is a set of VMFA-323 "Death Rattlers" textures for the FSX VRS F/A-18E Super Hornet (V1.4 only). They are based on the scheme worn by F/A-18C 164873 in 2014, as seen at the MCAS Yuma airshow on 3/15/2014. Thanks to fbk289 for the use of his repaint kit. By Nathan Havercroft.

Installation:

  • This zip file is ACM friendly simply extract it to a known location and then import using the VRS ACM.

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
