Xiamen Airlines Boeing 737-700 B-2998 brings the carrier’s newer livery to a Project Open Sky non-winglet model for FSX, with detailed textures, night lighting, reflective surfaces, animated doors, gear, thrust reversers, and flexing wings. Requires the default Boeing 737-800 panel and sound, plus included operating notes and performance data.

China Xiamen Airlines Boeing 737-700, registration B-2998. The Project Open Sky B737-700 non-winglets version as China Xiamen Airlines B-2998; complete package for FSX. The aircraft is in the airline's new color. Uses panel and sound of the default B737-800. Virtual cockpit is not included due to some technical difficulties. Operation manual by Warren C. Daniel of Project Open Sky team and performance data by Matt Zagoren are also included. Texture by He Lingyuan.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

    Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.

  3. Verify in FSX

    Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
