United Airlines Lockheed L-1011 in flight.
This is a repaint of the Thomas Ruth and Erick Cantu L-1011 FSX conversion in United livery and requires FSX LTU Lockheed L1011 (toml1011.zip) be installed. United operated a limited number of L-1011 aircraft from Pam Am for a short period of time. Those aircraft were -500 models which were shorter than the -100 model from Thomas Ruth and Erick Cantu. The actual N510PA differed slightly from this repaint due to the differences from -100 and -500 models. Visually this is limited primarily to overall aircraft length, the -100 had an extra door on each side and the area underneath the rear engine intake was reshaped with the -500 model.
To install, unzip the file downloaded and copy the texture.United folder into your L-1011 aircraft main folder. Add the following lines to the aircraft.cfg file in the fltsim area. Replace the 'x' in [fltsim.x] with the next numeric value greater than the last fltsim entry.
