This package offers a fully fictional repaint set for the default Beech Baron 58 in Microsoft Flight Simulator X, featuring optional American or Canadian tail numbering. Both variants use DDS textures optimized for the FSX environment. Developed by William Ortis of Lionheart Creations, this free add-on requires the original model from the Fly Away Simulation library. Below, you will find details of the modified liveries, installation steps, and configuration guidance.

Key Technical Aspects of the Aircraft

The Beech Baron 58 traces its lineage to the Bonanza family, renowned for its intuitive flight handling. The Baron’s twin-engine design uses Continental powerplants that deliver consistent performance. Pilots often appreciate its balanced control harmonies, making it an iconic light aircraft for cross-country flying. This package preserves that realism and introduces two distinct registry textures, expanding your hangar’s variety without altering the core flight model.

High-Resolution Repaint Highlights

  • Texture Format: DDS files ensure crisp definition suitable for FSX.
  • Fictional Registrations: Choose between American and Canadian configurations to tailor your flight identity.
  • Compatibility: Created exclusively for the stock Beech_Baron_58 folder in FSX, using the FSX SimObjects format.
  • Artist Credit: William Ortis (Lionheart Creations) meticulously designed each texture element.
