Everest Mission.

Everest Mission.

To install mission, simply extract (unzip) the files in to your main FSX folder. This is the folder in which FSX.exe is located.

This mission should be compatible with all versions of FSX.

This mission can be found under the category of Just For Fun, Intermediate, Everest.

During the mission, if the mission pointer or mission timer appear too large for your taste, they can be resized by pointing at the edges. They are also movable.

AIRCRAFT:
The Trike in FSX will not start at high altitudes unless Automixture is enabled in your Aircraft Realism settings.

MESSAGES:
A chime or tone will notify you of a new text message. Be sure you have text messages enabled, because there are no audible messages.
Remember that the messages are displayed on the kneeboard. So, if you miss one, just pause and look at the kneeboard.

The real Lukla airport is much more spectacular than the FSX version. It is short, and has a 12% slope. Add in some foul weather, and you have one of the world's most dangerous airports. An aborted landing is impossible due to terrain. In spite of that, it has considerable traffic.

DISCLAIMER: This is a fictional mission. The AirCreations Trike was not designed to fly at 29,000 feet. The author takes no responsibility for people who are inspired by this mission to attempt to hang glide from Mt. Everest, or any other high mountain.

Good luck!

Owen Graham (Archtx)
