FSX Okanagan Landclass Scenery

Okanagan Landclass, v2. Covers the Okanagan Valley roughly from the U.S. border north to Grindrod, BC, Canada. Features reworked vegetation, added minor towns, updated major cities. By Alexander Sievert.

Inspired by memories and the excellent bc_landclass collection by Martin Eldridge.
Okanagan_Land.bgl file created and compiled with EZ-Landclass 3.0 by Russel Dirks.
Okanagan_Water.bgl file created with fsx_kml by 1.08 beta.
Reference Material: Google Earth.
Coverage:
Okanagan Valley from N50 37 50 south to the US Border.
(Roughly: Grindrod, BC to Oroville, WA).

Reworked the vegetation in the valleys (crops/grass/woods/shrub) to better match real life.

This Version adds numerous lakes and streamlines to the Southern Okanagan area.

Installation:

- Unzip files into a temporary directory (e.g. c:\Documents and Settings\yournamehere\Desktop\temp). Remember to keep the folder structure intact.

You should then have a folder structure like this:

+ FSX
++-Okanagan
+-Scenery
+-Okanagan_Land.bgl
+-Okanagan_Water.bgl

- Copy the appropriate "Okanagan" folder to your FSX or FS9 "Addon Scenery" folder.
- Start FS, add, and and activate the scenery.
- Move the scenery to the desired priority.
- Let MSFS rebuild the scenery database.
- Go flying.....:)

The *.bgl was tested with stock textures, FSX SP1/FSX SP1+FSGlobalX/FSX SP1+FSGLOBALX+BC Landclass for FS9 by Martin Oldridge (bc_landclass.zip on AVSIM) and worked without problems.

These files are strictly freeware, and freeware only. Not to distributed without this readme file.
