FSX McDill AFB Scenery

McDill AFB (KMCF), Tampa, Florida (FL). Taxiways and aprons have been relocated according to Google Earth, and some buildings have been changed, taxiway designations corrected, parking added, connecting roads added, landclass and boundary fences around the airfield changed and some library objects placed (including B52s on the ramp). After reading a forum thread about freeway traffic on the KMCF aprons, it became apparent to me that users of UTX-USA needed this airport to be fixed so that taxiways and aprons are in the correct locations. Fortunately, the FSX default runway is correctly located. Taxiways and aprons have been relocated according to Google Earth, and while at it, some buildings have been changed, taxiway designations corrected, parking added, connecting roads added, landclass and boundary fences around the airfield changed and some library objects placed (including B52s on the ramp).

Installation:

Extract the zip file and move the KMCF_ADE_AP.bgl and the KMCF_ADE_AP_CVX.bgl files to the Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery\Scenery folder.

For all scenery objects to display, the Scenery Complexity slider in Scenery settings must be set to Very Dense. This airport can be further modified by the user with Airport Design Editor (freeware) from the AVSIM library.

To revert back to FSX default, remove the added bgl files from the Addon Scenery\Scenery folder.

This scenery is freeware, and may not be reproduced in whole, or any part for profit. There is no warranty. It was tested using FSX Deluxe edition, UTX-USA and acceleration.

Airport modification, landclass changes and object placement were accomplished using Airport Design Editor by ScruffyDuck Software.
