OZx Grand Canyon Add-Ins, Arizona (AZ). This file is for use with the Grand Canyon scenery created by the OZx group. It places the resort area outside of KGCN along the rim, a lot of the parking areas along the rim and a lot of hikers, kayakers, legal and illegal camp spots and seven or eight hikers that need some help but those you'll find within the basin and river. All original work and credit go to the OZx group. By Chuck Bosn.

OZx Grand Canyon Add-Ins.

This scenery file is to compliment the Grand Canyon scenery and mesh that is offered as freeware from the guys at Oz X.

This scenery ONLY uses default FSX and Acceleration object libraries. This means that you MUST have Acceleration installed to see everything.

To install: Place the "AZ GrandCanyon.bgl" in the Oz X "Grand Canyon-KGCN" / Scenery" folder. Mine is in "addon scenery" - "Grand Canyon-KGCN" - "Scenery"

If you do not have this EXTREMLY WELL DONE and in my opinion better than the current payware sceneries, stop by the OZ x web site and download this GREAT piece of freeware. ( the death Valley stuff is TOP NOTCH too and I will be doing a "addin" for Death Valley in the future.)

I have spent alot of time in these areas and will add in as much of what I remember from real life that I can remember.

The scenery: Adds in A WHOLE lot of STUFF all over the Canyon and basin. If you fly SAR grids, you'll find hikers in the nooks and crannies as well as situations where a hiker has "fallen and can't get up" (about seven diffrent rescue situations that involve 1 to 3 individuals) You'll also see legal and illegal campers, kayakers and swimmers and couple of kayakers that may need assistance, see if thier buddie waves you down. I did notice that if your not flying low and slow, (this means helicopters) you won't be able to see them.

The same as usual remember, users use at your own risk. I will NOT accept ANY responsiblity for misuse or damage caused by the file/files. This scenenery is fully tested in FSX, back up any files before you swap them out.

FSX / P3D add-on

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
