FSX Pocono Mountains Municipal Scenery Fix

Pocono Mountains Municipal Airport (KMPO) in Pennsylvania gets corrected signage with a small texture update that restores the missing sign textures from the original Pocono Mountains Municipal scenery package. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it improves airfield readability and visual consistency while keeping the existing layout, objects, and atmosphere intact.

INSTALLATION:

Since you are reading this file you obviously have already unzipped the zip file pocono_mountains_mun_fsx_fix.zip to a temporary folder. Having done so please find the following files.

kmpo_fsx_1.jpg
pocono_mountains_mun_fsx_textures.zip
readme.txt

Check your file structure in your Windows Explorer. If your FS setup is like the following, then all you need to do is unzip pocono_mountains_mun_fsx_textures.zip to the drive where your FS is located.

:\Programs Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator X.

Using the folder feature in your zip program, the texture files will be placed in the FS\Addon Scenery folder under KMPO - Pocono Mountain Mun.

If your file structure is not like that mentioned above, then unzip the zip file to a temporary folder and manually move the texture folder to your Pocono Mountain Mun scenery folder.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Finding the scenery

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
