Boeing F4B-4. The Boeing F4B-4 was the last fixed gear biplane fighter in the US Navy inventory. This model is painted for Squadron VF-6 assigned to the USS Ranger CV-4. It was designed in FSDS v3.51 and compiled with Xtomdl into FSX SP2. The textures are .bmp format. It has the usual animations plus an operating tail hook. The 2D panel and VC are based on a photo and the VC has operating instruments plus animated flight controls. You can use this package to fly in a full section formation with you friends or give FSX Recorder Module v1.3 a try. Full section repaint by Andreas Fey. This package includes the original model by Paul Clawson.

This is a repaint by Andreas Fey from Paul Clawsons original F4B-4, it covers a full section (3 planes) of VF-6. I have used original textelements from Paul Clawson in this discrption:

INSTALLATION: Unzip F4B-4_FX.zip into a temporary folder. Copy the file Boeing F4B-4_section into the Airplanes folder of FSX. Open the gauges folder and copy the Lockheed_Vega.cab file into the gauges folder of FSX. Don't open it as it is a self extracting file. A thumbnail is included in the texture file so it will show with a picture in the Aircraft Selection list.

Happy flying!
