PREVIOUSLY NEEDED SOFTWARE
Microsoft Flight Simulator X SP2.
Zip archive tmb700_a.zip.
Zip archive sirocco_gtx2.zip.
This latter archive is the one containing the effects making realistic landing and taxi lights available for night flights. Once extracted in a working folder, click on Sirocco_GTX2_setup.exe. Unless you wish to install the boat contained in the archive, browse to your working folder as your installation folder. You will then obtain, among others, a folder named 'effects', where you will find 9 files, together with another folder named 'texture'. Paste and copy the whole content to the FSX folder 'Effects'. ('Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Effects).
INSTALLATION
Aircraft:
First install TBM 700 A (Directory TBM 700) in the MS FSX aircraft folder 'Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\simobjects\aircraft. Do not forget to copy the file fx_vclight_TBM.fx that you will find in the 'Effects' directory of the archive into the MS FSX 'Effects' folder.
Effects:
Copy and paste all files you will find in the 'Effects' directory once unfolded the 'Sirroco_GTX2_setup.exe', into the MS FSX Effects folder (see above).
Textures:
Copy and paste all 5 texture files you will find in the 'Common_Textures' directory of the archive in each and all texture folders a contained in the TBM 700 folder. As originally provided, the aircraft gets two liveries: Alat (texture.1) and FAF (French Air Force) - (texture.2). You must repeat the operation for each and any supplementary texture that you have installed with the aircraft.
Aircraft.cfg:
Substitute the 'aircraft.cfg' file, as contained in the zip 'aircraft.cfg' folder, to the original file. Please note that the archive is also containing a backup copy of the original file in case of mishap.
Panel.cfg:
Substitute the 'panel.cfg' file, as contained in the zip 'panel.cfg' folder, to the original file that you will find in the 'Panel' folder of the aircraft. Please note that the archive is also containing a backup copy of the original file in case of mishap.
Thumbnail:
Copy and paste, for each 'texture' folder in the aircraft, the corresponding 'Thumbnail.jpg' file.
The content of this zip archive is an adaptation of various files as found on Internet. This file is, as such, a freeware, within the limits set-up for use and distribution of the original files, to which it is necessary to refer.
