TRC, the manufacturer of Simkits, informs us that they have a new software release on the support section of thier website for the TRC Link Software. TRC Setup 3.1 (only for the CCU2) has many improvements on version 3.0. The TRC Link Software is available free for download from their support section.

Simkits has released new software to control the Simkit hardware products. It has advanced features when compared to the previous 3.0 version. This software has also addressed and solved the flaws in the older version.

For radiostack controllers, Central Control Unit and SIC , both the USB drivers and the INF file software have been given as a free download. Since USB is a Plug n Play technology, it will make easier to control the Simkit hardware without complexity. This USB driver and INF is completely backward compatible even with the older versions.

Digital clock software is the next highlight of this release. This software connects the digital clock to both the MS 2004 and FSX. For the troubleshooting purpose of CCU board, software has been developed. This Board test software works with the calibration software and TRClink interface to troubleshoot the board.

Multicontroller board which is calibrating many hardware connected to the device has been improved with a new updated software. Because of this around 32 multicontroller boards can be connected to a PC. Bugs in the older version have been removed successfully. I addition to that, new features have also been added. All the software has to be downloaded in a separate folder and then to be installed. It should not be installed directly from the website.

The keysend software enables a user to customize the keystrokes to all the functions of TRC 1000 Glass cockpit. Even for the audio panel a keystroke can be customized. Software has been designed in such a way to support both the 32 and 64 bits Microsoft products.

Software versions are continued to be updated often to address the compatibility issues and to meet the standard of newly developing Microsoft products. The size of the software is large and it is given for a free download in zip file format.
