September 23rd, 2007: Exciting Simulations™ is delighted to announce that the Space Shuttle Mission 2007™ web site has been updated and now it unveils the new Community section.

Sadly, the SS Shuttle Mission 07 website has lay dormant since 2014, when the co-founder of the website, Alexander Lorinczi, passed away. He fought a brave battle against a brain tumor but sadly was unable to defeat the terrible illness.

Since then, there has been no updates or changes to the website. However, all of their community platforms are still relatively active, as is the Downloads section where great quality content is still available for download.

However, the loss of a great person such as Alexander is a travesty for the community. We’d like to pass on our condolences to his family and his friends and wish his wife and two children a happy and successful future.

We’ll be sure to update this if SSMS sees any kind of extra adjustments or changes in the future. Given the most recent product update was provided on April 18th, 2010, though, we aren’t sure when – or if – this is a program that is going to see a restart anytime in the future.

RIP Alexander.

We have a great freeware Space Shuttle add-on for FSX over in the file library here.
