Announcing Vox ATC X

Posted on Tue, 13 Nov 2007 08:28:07 GMT
We are pleased to announce that flying with FSX is about to get a lot more realistic... and become a lot more challenging at the same time

In the past the single most unrealistic aspect of using the air traffic control feature of FSX, and of third-party ATC products, is pilot ATC requests and reading of ATC clearances. Until now you have simulated requests and responses with just a keyboard numbered choice. The new FSX version of VoxATC is about to change the way you interface with air traffic control facilities forever! Now you will use a real headset and a push-to-talk button on your yoke or keyboard to communicate with ATC in your own voice. Now you will listen to the controller, understand the clearance and read it back correctly. And now you not only decide what you want from ATC... you will ask for it.

Your cockpit workload has just moved from the simulated world to the real one! Are you up to the challenge?

Hi i have Vox ATC UK and its fun but can some one tell me how to assign the push to talk to a yoke button rather than space bar? And why sometimes I tune the radio to what it tells me then no other messages come up like taxi to holding point or hold short nothing. I also fly from Guernsey to Jersey and it directs me on a 1Hr flight which should take 20 mins; all said and done when it works it adds to the whole FSX and it's OK.
