    Ariane Boeing 737 Ng Development

Posted on Tuesday, October 25 @ 16:45:50 BST by darklord

Flight Simulator 2004 Following further development of the Boeing 737 NG model, Ariane has released a new Boeing 737 NG VCe Series - version 2 - EFIS. Ariane has also introduced a new price plan with lower product prices. For full details, click on Read More.

Ariane releases new Boeing 737 Ng VCe Series - Version 2 - EFIS  Following further development and extensive re-design of the Boeing 737 Ng model, flight deck, code and logic of the Ariane Boeing 737 Ng range, Ariane announce a 'new version V2' of their advanced Boeing 737 Ng Series VCe Series starting with the commemoration edition of the Boeing 737-700 Ng in Dreamliner livery.

A new 'price plan' and upgrade option is being introduced on the release to provide current users with access to the new version 2 Boeing 737-700 Ng for only 29.95 (GBP). A number of new packages are also being offered to introduce new users to the Boeing 737 Ng Series as well as a 'top of the range' package for professionals and flight crews.

The new packages are: BOEING V2 SE, UPGRADE and PROMOTIONAL.

The new version Boeing 737-700 Ng includes extensive re-development work of the Boeing 737 design with less vectored points meaning faster frame rates as well as the introduction of a new EFIS display system which offers fluid-like performance in both 2Di and pop-up, multi monitor options. The new version also offers more functionality over previous releases and introduces simulation crews to Phase One of forthcoming RealWORLD OPS Project Versions which aim to bring the real world of simulation one step closer.

"We are proud to be the leading edge in the development of the Boeing 737 Ng. Unlike some companies, we are not dropping the Boeing 737 aircraft from further development but advancing it. Sections like our mutli-functional overhead now feature over 50 switches and systems linked to areas like electrical and hydraulic management. Our 'speed vs Mach' logic feature is the only simulation of an area among many we cover and our technology cannot be matched by any other Boeing 737 Ng simulator on the market - except of course that offered by a larger multi-million dollar type..."

    - Neville Rolt - Managing Director of Ariane Design Limited.

The new version Boeing 737- Ng V2 will showcase the forthcoming Boeing 737-800 Ng V2 and include new items like:

    • NEW DESIGN MODEL V2
    • NEW EFIS PANELS - all new displays
    • PFD/ND version options (selectable via menu)
    • NEW EFIS engine management panel - set N1 and SPD cursor settings on the panel in line with V1, VR and V2 settings.
    • NEW Multiple monitor management switching via the flight deck.
    • NEW Winglet and non-winglet options (selectable via menu).
    • New Systems and Logics
    • Dual Night Effects on IRS and FMC panels
    • Support for FMC REF NAV DATA and SUPP MNAD DATA

    New Animations

New animations such as opening flight deck windows as well as further exterior work is included in the release as well as new Forward Overhead sections, new switching and controls and sections such as a fully animated Flight Control Panel. Further electrical/hydraulic functionality has also been built into the design to challenge pilot-management operation.

    Ground Crew Pack Included

Ariane's extensive 'Ground Control' package gives crews the ability to connect a choice of different Ground Power Units (GPU's) as well as the ability to drive a choice of three tugs. The package allows crews to push aircraft back thru all phases of push, including grab connection (also Goldhofer versions), tug calls (with tug 'atc') and pull or tug aircraft to maintenence or stand as directed by virtual ATC. All this can be done from the tug commanders driving position.

    Dynamic Eyepoint Pack Included

The Dynamic Eyepoint Package allows viewpoint to viewpoint switching (almost without limit on type or range of view including landing gear views). Views such as 3d jump seat, 3d galley (with airstair animations controllable from the authentic access panel), opening doors (making Captain's Commands like "doors to manual' a reality), over wing 3d views (showing all animation and lighting), 3d gear undersides/behind nosewheel during landing - Dynamic EyepointT gives you your own choice of hundreds of 3d viewpoints at a crews command via a SINGLE key press!

Both of these packages are also being included as part of the BOEING SE BASE PACK.

    2Di - Seamless Flight

2dI introduces a new generation of display technology for users who like BOTH 2d and 3d concepts. With 2di crews get both features as one. The new Panel System offers the classic viewpoint combining with very fast, vector panels and also introduces SEAMLESS TRANSITION to 3d - without changing panels or pressing the [S] key! By moving a point of view, the 3d engine takes you there in a fraction of a second. Crews can walk round the flight deck, walk out to the galley, sit on the jump seat - then jump back to any 2d view they set with one press of the space bar. Crews can monitor approach, check for traffic and look around before take off as if there were a camera mounted outside. One press of the spacebar and the crews 2d view 'snaps' back into place providing fluid, vector displays and offering ultra fast FPS. A truly stunning new technolgy update. All part of the new BASE PACK package.New Technology

Ariane already incorporated the new technology and features available in the V2 range to the BBJ Project which is currently available as the only fully modeled BBJ in the FS world with offices, lounges, bedrooms and other features. The new 700 Ng includes much of these enhancements such as wing views and flight attendant management of interior lighting and systems, airstairs and doors and much more...(please scroll down for screenshots and details of the BBJ or go to our product section to buy).

The new Version 2 Boeing 737-700 Ng sets the standard in very high detail, functionality and systems advancement and prices start at just œ29.95 for the upgrade package.
