FS2002 Photoreal Moon Texture

Photoreal Moon Texture replaces the default lunar bitmap with a higher-resolution 512- or 256-pixel image, giving the moon a fuller, more realistic presence against the night sky and improving dusk-to-dark ambiance. Designed for FS2002, it also displays correctly in FS2004 for more immersive nighttime flights.

How to install this mod

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Identify the target folder

Different simulators use different folder structures. Check the readme to confirm where files should be placed.
Copy files to the correct location

Drag the extracted folder into the location the readme specifies. Most add-ons just need to be in the right folder.
