Editorial
Having used the original non-updated version of this mod, I thought that finally “upgrading” to the new version might be worth my time. As an aircraft that I have a lot of time for despite its tyrannical purpose, the MI-8MT/T is an aircraft model that I wanted to use again but felt like my old models were simply not up to the standard that I have come to expect.
With this mod, then, I couldn’t wait to see how this would fly with the introduction of new gauges that actually with the reality of the aircraft, giving me something different.
So, how did I find this aircraft to be when flying it? Did it capture my attention as I hoped it would?
New Modules
The new features – namely the PC panels and the new gauges – were very impressive. They look the part and give you plenty of understanding of what the cockpit of this awesome helicopter can be like, whilst helping you appreciate the detail in its overall design.
It really helped to sell the whole image of the cockpit properly this time, with plenty of those little gauges and features that were sorely lacking in the past now finally included.
Whilst not many new changes were made to the body of the helicopter or anything else, the original package done a great job of capturing these features and showcasing them in the right manner. For anyone who is engaged with the world of aviation, try out this chopper.
It’s easy to fly around with and the updates make it even easier, with new features and improvements further adding to the intense realism it provides. I was a massive fan of the chopper before ever getting to us the normal version, and now having enjoyed the updated version I have to say it’s went even higher up in my estimations!
The team behind making this have done a great job on both iterations and make sure that it continues to grow, change and improve for the long-term. I’ll keep returning to this mod for many months to come, for sure.

Not bad as far as the flight model and exterior but the VC is awful. Better than n o VC or worse a static VC though.
Pouya, turn off directX 10 you'll see the textures outside the aircraft's
It took a while to get it installed, but once I was successful it is one of the nicest flying rotorcraft I've flown. very smooth and forgiving if you take your time flying it, just don't make any super aggressive moves. This ain't no Whiskey Cobra, Y'all. The 2D panel is actually very nice, as is the VC. If you have any problems with the install, just take a deep breath, back up, start over, and work with it. Try not to get frustrated and you will be rewarded with one sweet little machine.
Hey guys, I have a problem. I have downloaded a few add on aircraft from this site including this particular one, and in every single one of them, something is missing ... the textures of the outside of the plane, and the cockpit itself. why does this happen, and what can I do to fix this?
