This colour scheme was used by Korean National Airlines(former National Airline of Korea and Mother company of Korean Air). This scheme was also used in KNA's Douglas DC-3 and L-749. KNA's DC-4 was first used in International flight to Japan and HongKong via Taiwan.(Also flew direct routes to Hong kong from Seoul) from Mid 1950s. After KNA has acquired L-749 from Lockheed Most of International flights were operated by L-749 and DC-4 were used for short haul International flights to Japan and used in High capacity Domestic Routes. HL-106 was also used in various charter flights.(Carrying Korean Olympic Athletes Team to Melbourne in 1956, Carrying Korean War Orphans to Portland, Oregon in 1957 and more). These DC-4s were later used by Korean Air Lines after KNA bankrupted and became Korean Air Lines. DC-4s retired in 1964 when F-27s were first introduced.

  • Copy the folder 'texture.KNA' in to your Jens Kristensen's DC-4 (for me \Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\JBK Douglas DC-4-1009 V2) folder.
  • Paste the following into your aircraft.cfg:

title=JBK Douglas_DC_4 Korean National Airlines
ui_type=DC-4 (JBK 2)
ui_variation=Korean National Airlines
description=Douglas DC-4 KNA
atc_airline=Korean Air
