In FSX, navigate to the (Uires) folder. Find the stock (dlgsplash) template. Rename it something like (dlgsplashbkup). Rename the new splash screen you prefer to (dlgsplash) and copy it to the same Uires folder. Your new splash screen will appear the next time you open FSX.
