FSX Spanair Boeing 737-800

Spanair’s classic colors come to the Boeing 737-800 with a fictional repaint inspired by the airline’s pre-2012 scheme, complemented by night lighting textures for a convincing ramp presence. Built for Flight Simulator X, it requires the PMDG 737 NGX 800/900 Base Pack and installs via the PMDG Livery Installer.

A repaint for the payware PMDG B737 800WL. A fictional repaint for Spanair based on their livery before operations stopped in 2012. Requires PMDG B737-800/900 base pack. Night textures included. (Version 2 has a small number of users reported installation issues due to a possible file corruption. This version has a totally new .ptp file for use with the PMDG Livery Installer). Installation:

Unzip PTP file to a (temporary) folder of your choice.
Run PMDG's Livery Manager and press 'Select Livery to Install'.
Select the respective PTP file and let the program install the livery.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.
Verify in FSX

Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.
