Israeli Air Force “First Jet” Squadron markings bring Rob Richardson’s Gloster Meteor FR9 to life, recreating aircraft “36” (ex-RAF WX963) flown from Ramat David and famed for Captain Aharon Yoell’s 1955 twin Vampire victory. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator X Acceleration, this repaint requires the Rob Richardson Meteor FR9 base aircraft.

A repaint for Rob Richardson's Gloster Meteor FR9 for Microsoft Flight Simulator X Acceleration. '36' was ex-RAF WX963 and was used by the 'First Jet' Squadron, Israeli Defence Force/Air Force based, at Rabat David. The aircraft was used by Captain Aharon Yoell to shoot down two Egyptian DH Vampires on 01/09/55. Repaint by Peter Watkins.

Installation:

  • Copy the texture file into the 'Gloster Meteor FR Mk 9' folder in FSX SimObjects 'Airplanes' folder.
  • Copy and add the following to the aircraft CFG file, replacing the 'xx' with your next number in sequence.
