This specialized repaint showcases a distinctive homage to Microsoft Flight Simulator X through a thoughtfully crafted exterior for the Bombardier CRJ-700. It is designed to add variety to your virtual airline fleet and underscores the creative work of Victor Vu while focusing on precise details for authentic immersion in flight simulation.

Commemorative Paint Design

This repaint pays tribute to the longstanding impact of Microsoft Flight Simulator X. The exterior incorporates unique color accents that highlight key airframe contours, resulting in a visually striking finish. Enthusiasts will notice subtle touches along the fuselage, reflecting an appreciation for the simulator’s enduring presence in the aviation community.

Aircraft Features and Characteristics

  • Airframe Model: Based on the CRJ-700 (Bombardier Canadair Regional Jet), which is commonly deployed for regional routes, known for its efficient performance and modern cockpit layout.
  • Livery Enhancements: High-resolution textures enhance fuselage lines. Each rivet, window frame, and door outline is rendered with attention to detail and maximum clarity.
  • Flight Deck Synergy: Although the repaint targets the exterior, the default systems in Microsoft Flight Simulator X still integrate seamlessly, maintaining the CRJ-700’s standard functionality.

Installation and Requirements

This package delivers textures only and does not contain the original CRJ-700 model. You will need to obtain the freeware base package from the Fly Away Simulation collection. Once you have the primary files installed, merge these custom texture folders into your preferred CRJ-700 directory. After completing the necessary configuration steps, your aircraft selection list in Microsoft Flight Simulator X will reflect this fresh, commemorative livery by creator Victor Vu.

Your installation instruction are not detailed enough for ordinary mortals. They need step by step instructions.
