Expert Overview

This comprehensive mod for X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 10 completely revitalizes Montes Claros/Mario Ribeiro Airport (ICAO: SBMK) in Minas Gerais, Brazil, adding carefully modeled ramps, gates, and a reliable lighting system. Inaugurated in 1939 and administered by Infraero since 1980, the airfield is now enhanced with accurate city buildings, ortho-photo scenery, and optional ground services in XP11 for a deeply immersive flight simulation experience.

From my firsthand testing in X-Plane 11.02b1 and X-Plane 10.51, I found that performance remains smooth while maintaining plenty of detail and authenticity. Official SBMK aeronautical charts are included for precise flight planning, and the overall accuracy of landmarks and taxiways ensures pilots can fully appreciate the unique characteristics of this Brazilian airport. This truly stands out as a must-have scenery pack for those seeking a carefully crafted, realistic destination.

This mod was installed, tested and reviewed by Adam McEnroe for Fly Away Simulation. Adam is an FS mod expert. Read his bio here.
