This is an X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 10 scenery package for Jacareacanga-Rio Tapajos Municipal Airport (IATA: JCR, ICAO: SBEK), which is the airport serving Jacareacanga, Para, in Brazil.

This airport is lost into the deep Amazon Rainforest, by the Tapajos River, in the state of Para, in Brazil.

This scenery was tested and is operational (as of June 04, 2017) in "X-Plane 11.02b1 64 bit", Windows 10 Home. It was also tested and is also operational (as of June 04, 2017) in "X-Plane 10.51 64 bit", Windows 10 Home.

A set of PDF charts (updated as of May 2017) are provided for SBEK/JCR airport. They are official and free of charge, provided by the Brazilian aeronautical authority. You can find them in the folder "SBEK Charts", in this package. These charts are constantly updated by the Brazilian aeronautical authority. X-Plane 11 Installation:

Two folders are provided. You only need the one marked XP11. Copy and paste the folder "BR PA SBEK - Jacareacanga Airport XP11 v1.0.0" into your "\X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery" folder, as usual in the X-Plane world. Do not copy the folder marked XP10.


X-Plane 10 Installation:

Two folders are provided. You only need the one marked XP10. Copy and paste the folder "BR PA SBEK - Jacareacanga Airport XP10 v1.0.0" into your "\X-Plane 10\Custom Scenery" folder, as usual in the X-Plane world. Do not copy the folder marked XP11.


Additional scenery libraries needed:

Only the default X-Plane 11 libraries, by Laminar Research, are needed. No third party libraries are used.

How to install this mod

X-Plane scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Copy into Custom Scenery

    Place the scenery folder into X-Plane 12/Custom Scenery/.

  3. Set scenery load order

    X-Plane loads sceneries top-to-bottom from Custom Scenery/scenery_packs.ini. Custom airports should be ABOVE mesh and ortho-imagery.

  4. Restart X-Plane

    Close X-Plane completely and relaunch. The new content loads automatically.

  5. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
