Editorial

It’s always good to have new sound effects and similar improvements in your flight simulation and this is no different. This mod does a great job of taking old FS2004 sounds and making them far better than they used to.

Having grown used to my use of modern FSX mods and sound packages FS2004 just sounded really generic and horrible to me, so I started using this for something a little different and more enjoyable in general. What I found was that this made a telling difference to the way that it handles itself in general, offering something new.

The sound packages are nice and easy to install, and the level of performance that they provide is also quite impressive. They are far closer to your typical FSX add-on package than normal FS2004 sounds so if you are like me and have grown used to home comforts, this can certainly help you out!

Crystal Clear

Not only does it come with new sounds like cabin and crew voices – which are all professionally mastered to sound really professionally but are also accurate in what they say – this mod does an exceptional job of combining announcements and ambience perfectly. The whole thing sounds deeply impressive so I would happily recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a fresh and more captivating range of sounds from their simulator.

It can be a bit damning to hear the limited qualities of the old FS 2004 sounds so this does make a nice little add-on to the original sounds. I even enjoyed the new “muzak” sounds which are included, all of this making it very easy to enjoy a more authentic flights.

Even when using FS2004 I like to preach authenticity so this makes a welcome and engaging change to the norm for me, adding something enjoyable to my old dalliances with this.

In case anyone's wondering, the three muzak files are:

Bert Kaempfert, Swinging Safari Leroy Holmes - One Note Samba, Recado Bossa Nova Henry Mancini - Smoke Gets In Your Eyes

Hi, do you have any Boing 747-400 dual panel set up, where and how can I view the sight? Can the center and side frames be removed from view? just leaving the panel alone on my monitor screen... Thank you.
