Installation: I recommend using the 'FSX Repaint Manager X' included (repaintmanagerx_1_01.zip) but, if you prefer to do it manually, follow the following instructions.
Unzip to a temporary folder. Move the "Texture.UNITED NEW" Folder to your B738_800 Folder in FSX.
Copy and paste the text below into the existing aircraft.cfg for the B737-800 replacing the 'X' in [fltsim.X] with the next number in the sequence ( if you have no other textures other than the default, then this should be "6"). Place it immediately below the text for your existing paints.

DESCRIPTION=ONE SHOULD HARDLY BE SURPRISED THAT THE WORLD'S MOST PROLIFIC MANUFACTURER OF COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT IS ALSO THE PRODUCER OF THE WORLD'S MOST POPULAR JETLINER. THE 737 BECAME THE BEST-SELLING COMMERCIAL JETLINER WORLDWIDE WHEN ORDERS FOR IT HIT 1,831 IN JUNE 1987 (SURPASSING BOEING'S OWN 727 AS THE PREVIOUS CHAMP). HOWEVER, IT WASN'T ALWAYS THAT WAY\S IN THE FIRST FEW YEARS OF PRODUCTION, THERE WERE SO FEW ORDERS THAT BOEING CONSIDERED CANCELING THE PROGRAM. THEY DIDN'T, AND THE AIRPLANE HAS MORE THAN PROVEN ITSELF IN OVER THREE DECADES OF SERVICE.

This doesn’t work on the default FSX 737-800 - what did I do wrong?
