Tuned cockpit textures blend night lighting over daytime surfaces for smoother after-dark flying, with optional standard A321-based textures and included effects for added realism.

The cockpit textures have been adjusted to layer in the
night lighting textures onto the daytime panel.

If you'd like to have the standard textures without lighting layering,
they are copied from the default A-321 panel textures.
To restore, copy the A321 textures into the texture file
within this A340.

Just unzip all .fx files into your FSX/effects folder.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

    Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.

  3. Verify in FSX

    Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
