Well...not realy double, because there was no difference in livery, only in registration and in the aircraft's name. But KLM coloured Convairs did fly both in the Caribbean and in Europe. Zip-file contains the total package with sound and panel.

Editorial

This is a nice little re-paint job carried out by Jaap de Baare. Having used the original model myself in the past, I wanted to pick this up and give my FS2004 something a little fresh. While it’s obvious that this was made some years down the line, given the comparison in sharpness on its textures vs the default scenery, for example, it looks pretty great. FS2004 is obviously more than tapped out now, but the developers who still use it make the most of what they can, given the obvious limitations that still exist.

Does Everything Promised!

This changes the name and the registration of the aircraft, basing it heavily from the Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson livery edition of the same Convair aircraft. Jaap has just changed around some of the minor details to make this more fitting for specific purposes.

I can’t really say too much about this – it does exactly as it says on the tin. It’s a nice livery that is about as clear as you can get for such an old simulator. One thing I would say, though, is that it can be quite an eyesore if you use this just with the default scenery etc.

Again, the difference in quality is so vast that it just sticks out a little too much!

I’d recommend using some kind of scenery grouping with this to help make sure you don’t feel like you are flying in the wrong world.
