Editorial

Having not had the pleasure of using the Decathlon in some time, the minute I came across this mod I knew I just had to try it out. This is a recreation of one of my old FS2004 flames and a more improved, authentic rendition of the old model I used to love so much was simply something I had to try out!

Preview screenshot

Booting up my old FS2004 I downloaded this and installed it in a matter of moments. It took me no time at all to get it working – but what did I make of the level of quality?

The Look

It flies in the most effective manner possible, giving you a really stunning aircraft that carries the depth and detail of the real thing in the most effective manner possible. The attention to care on the aircraft itself is very impressive with many of the little things included that others might have missed out on.

It does a great job in putting it all together whilst making it look the part, with so much interest in the actual depth and scale of the body. I was looking here to be critical and find problems but given the limitations of the software itself it soon becomes much easier to get into the feel of things. It all feels so authentic and fair when flying this model and I would quite happily recommend anyone try the same style out – it really does look the best it could.

The Feel

This concentration of detail and racism is no different when it comes to the actual flight style itself. With various features including fully moving parts and the ability to do the full spins in the cockpit, you have access to an aircraft that feels spectacular and is also very easy to fly.

With many changes and special changes that help to make it fly as close to the real thing as possible this is one of the most enjoyable recreations I have had the pleasure of using on FS2004 for many years. It looks great and it performs even better!

I have been searching for prop aircraft to fly and have tried dozens. This is by far the best I have flown. It has everything for the novice as well as the experienced. It is a delight to fly and is flawless. Thanks for providing it.
