Faroes Island Search Mission.

Thank you for downloading this FSX mission. It is the first one I decided to publish.

1. This is freeware but remain legal proberty of the author. Nobody may be charged for this software. You may freely redistribute the unaltered package, but when you alter it in any way you need my permission to redistribute.

2. You need the - beside FSX of course- the following third party software:

The Hovercontrol Bell/textron 412 by Jordan Moore.

The Faroe Islands scenery for FSX by Ryan Andersen and Peter H. Poulsen(faroes_fsx_acc.zip).

Recommended: The FS9/FSX autopilot by Dirk Fassbender and Antti Pankonen. The version provided by the Hovercontrol original installation is from FS9 and doesn´t work in FSX!

The autopilot will also work with the FSX Jet Ranger when installed to it. You may way fly without the autopilot of course- it´s your own choice.

The Atlantic Airways repaint of Jordan Moore´s Hovercontrol made by myself. It is contained in this package.

Alternativly you may try to fly the mission with the FSX Jet Ranger. I don´t recommand it and didn´t try it myself. During the mission your payload will be adjusted and you may become overloaded! The 412 has much more payload.

Install:

Get and install the recommanded third-party software.

Copy Flight Simulator X to your FSX root directory and allow any overwriting.

This mission was made using Flight 1 Instant Mission Maker and FSX Mission Editor by Jim Keir. Later versions may contain recorded speech instead for the sythesized.

I wish you would put proper URL Links in these posts... I cannot find the faroes_fsx_acc.zip file on ANY website ANYWHERE and definitely not at the other site where it was supposed to be...
