FSX / P3D mission

FSX The Most Dangerous Airports: Saba Island Mission

Saba Island’s famously short 800‑foot runway becomes the focus of a tense charter flight mission, flying a honeymoon couple from nearby St. Maarten to one of the Caribbean’s most demanding strips in FSX. The scenario features guided narration and tailored objectives, and requires a DHC-6 Twin Otter package plus Saba scenery.

NOTES:

I have created the next in The Most Dangerous Airports Mission Series, namely Saba Island. The Saba Island is close to Princess Juliana and has a extremely short runway, only 800 ft long. You have been chartered by a honeymoon couple to take them to the island for their honeymoon.

The following zip files for the mission needs to be found on the net and installed:

Cayman Airways DHC-6 Twin Otter Package.

Thank you Eric Dantes, Christopher Peterson and Gareth Scott for sharing this aircraft with us. This is the only Twin Otter that FSX Mission Editor recognises, I don't know why? You can use other Twin Otters, but then you will have to instruct FSX to change the Aircraft, using the Enable changes in selected Mission (no rewards given) mode.

Plus I added the zip file for SABA that needs to be installed as indicated. Thank you J.L. Valladier for releasing this freeware scenery of this island.

You should have also downloaded the The Most Dangerous Airports: Princess Juliana Mission to install the St. Maartens I Scenery.

INSTALLATION:

Unzip the mission zip file into the mission directory of your FSX. Make sure your mission show captioning is ticked on. Place the Add-On scenery as instructed.

That's all. Enjoy the mission. I did, creating it.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D mission
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place mission files

Missions go into FSX\Missions\ as a sub-folder. The folder must contain an XML file describing the mission.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
