Built from stock objects for easy compatibility and tuned for realistic layout accuracy in Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it requires no additional object libraries.

NAS Key West Scenery.

By request, here is an updated version of the stock FSX NAS Key West I used Flight 1's AFX and Instant Scenery programs to re-work the airport. I removed and replaced some of the stock buildings, added Military combat and cargo parking, additional pavement and static vehicles.

I use Just Flight's Military Plus Packs and they work fine with this airport. I also use Ultimate Terrain and FSGenesis landclass but they are not required. All objects are stock FSX so no additional object libraries are needed.

Google Earth and Mapquest used to make the airport as accurate as possible.

INSTALLATION:

Extract the two files AFX_KNQX_JC.bgl and KNQX_JC.bgl to your Addon Scenery/Scenery folder, start FSX and enjoy!

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
