FSX NAS Patuxent River Scenery
NAS Patuxent River (KNHK) scenery refreshes the Maryland naval air station in Microsoft Flight Simulator X with expanded military parking, updated taxiways and aprons, a new control tower, plus replaced base buildings, fire station details, and static aircraft and vehicles. It uses only stock objects and stays compatible with common coastline enhancements.
NAS Patuxent River (KNHK), Maryland (MD). An improved version with added parking, fire station with truck, replaced default buildings, added static vehicles, parking lots and more. By Jim Cook.

NAS Patuxent River Scenery.
MS didn't do much with military bases in FSX. Here is an improved version of the stock NAS Patuxent River. I added Military_Cargo and Military_Combat parking spaces. I added the fire station and fire trucks. I removed and replaced many default buildings, added additional buildings, and added the control tower. Added static fuel trucks, static airplanes and helicopters, parking lots with cars and light poles. Added, removed, or adjusted taxiways and aprons as needed. I moved one apron to be compatible with the Ultimate Terrain coastline, but it should also be fine with default scenery.
I use Just Flight's Military Plus Packs and they work fine with this airport. I also use Ultimate Terrain and FSGenesis landclass but they are not required. All objects are stock FSX so no additional object libraries are needed. Updates made using AirNav diagrams and Google Earth to be as accurate as possible. All work done with Flight 1's AFX program and Instant Scenery.
I will be doing other military bases as time permits.
INSTALLATION:
Extract the two files AFX_KNHK_JC.bgl and KNHK_JC.bgl into your Addon Scenery/Scenery folder, re-start FSX and enjoy.

How to install this mod
-
Extract the downloaded archive
Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files. -
Place scenery in Addon Scenery
Create a folder underFSX\Addon Scenery\containingsceneryandtexturesub-folders. -
