FSX Bandirma Air Base VFR Scenery

Bandirma Air Base VFR Scenery (LTBG), Turkey. A moderately detailed scenery of Bandirma Air Base and the surrounding area. Contains realistic positioning of objects and autogen, has also some photoreal texture components. By Sunay Kilic.

Moderately detailed scenery of Turkey BANDIRMA LTBG Air Base and the surrounding area, mainly done by the Instant Scenery program for FSX (SP2).

The VFR scenery contains the Bandirma Air Base, the surrounding area, Bandirma city and the coast and as a bonus the nearby Kapidag peninsula.

INSTALLATION
Is done the usual FSX way. (i.e. Extract the LTBG Bandirma folder to your favorite scenery files folder, and from FSX main screen select SETTINGS, SCENERY LIBRARY, ADD AREA and add the LTBG Bandirma).

The coast lines are compatible with the Marmara east coasts scenery, "istanbul.zip" by Winfried Orthmann.

The scenery is done using Instant Scenery, SbuilderX, FS Earth Tiles, FS Design Studio, FSX SP2 SDK (Annotator) and Airport Design Editor.
Contains realistic positioning of objects and autogen, has also some photoreal ground texture components (with kind permission of Google).

The objects are mainly default FSX objects or my own creations; except the C-130 and B-412 models are from Jean-Pierre Fillion, the F-16 is from Ole Egholm and the F-4 is from Guy Diotte. There are also some Acceleration Pack objects, so the users of the Acceleration Pack can also see these additional objects.
There are also the BARES wind turbines on the NE hills facing the Marmara Sea. And a load train on the NE side of the airfield.

The scenery is done by both scenery objects and autogen, so to see the details both your "Scenery complexity" and "Autogen density" settings must be at least DENSE. To see the photoreal textures you must have your "Texture resolution" setting to 30cm max (preferably 7cm).
