EKAT Anholt Isle VFR photo scenery brings Denmark’s remote Anholt airfield and surrounding sand-dune “desert” to life for challenging island approaches 75 nm north of Copenhagen in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Includes compatibility builds for default terrain, Ultimate Terrain Europe X, and Dan-VFR Danish Photo Scenery.

EKAT-Anholt Isle VFR Photo Scenery. Flying to Anholt is flying to the only desert in northern Europe, a very special experience, and one where your flying skill will be tested to the edge. Enclosed are both a version for the default and Ultimate Terrain Europe X and a version for Dan-Vfr Danish Photo scenery. Anholt is a small island 75 nm north of Copenhagen, Denmark. Installation

Step 1:

Download and Unzip EKATX.ZIP to a temp folder.

In the unzipped file you find two editions of EKAT-X (Addon Scenery):

EKAT for Default & Ultimate Terrain Europa X.

EKAT for DAN-VFR Danish Photo-scenery.

Step 2:

Chewse the edition you want to install (EKAT for Default & Ultimate Terrain Europa X or EKAT for DAN-VFR Danish Photo-scenery) Move (Drag & Drop) the Addon Scenery folder containing the version you want to install to the main FSX folder and say yes when asked to overwrite.

The file structure is; Microsoft flightsimulator X >Addon Scenery> EKAT-Anholt.

Step 3:

Go to > Settings> Scenery Library ,and add EKAT-Anholt. Your done, Enjoy.

This scenery is released as Freeware, and are only permitted to be distributed according to the following conditions.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
